Risk focussed reporting
Our client, a joint venture company, required us to develop a way to keep it updated as to the progress of a large number of often inter-connected tasks across multiple work streams on a major public construction project of strategic and commercial significance.
We developed a concise, matter and client specific report which identified all work streams and tasks, relevant task dependencies, weekly priorities and monitored the progress of each of these tasks using a traffic light system to identify any potential areas of risk / slippage. By centralising reporting and monitoring with a Project Management Professional™ on our team, we were able to actively monitor and manage those tasks potentially at risk. By focussing on weekly priorities, our client was able to use this report to manage internal resources and also provide regular reports to the Board and other stakeholders.
